Requirements

Eligibility:

• Age: 18-30 (need special permit beyond this range)
• Qualification: High school graduates and above

Required Documents:

• Application form (students must state their language status: native English speaker or graduated from English media high school)
• Passport info page
• High school graduation certificate
• 2 years of high school transcripts
• Chinese HSK level 4 certificate, if non-English native speakers
• Health check report,
• Non-criminal certificate within 3 months
• Bank deposit certificate of $5000(US)
• Recent white background photo
• Signed letter of consent

Knowledge requirements:

• Basic ethical training;
• Grasp of basic knowledge of management, economics, and laws;
• Command of basic knowledge in electronic trading, be aware of the process of online trade process and essential link points;
• Command of web-page design, development, and graphic production, have the basic knowledge of web page development and maintenance;
• Command of modern network marketing, and modern information management skills;
• Command of international trade theories and practice, be familiar with import and export processes;
• Know online trade laws and trade negotiations;
• Grasp the methodology of literature research, information inquiry, and data collection.

Competency requirements:

• Command of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, able to design and develop online trade system;
• Strong ability in verbal expression, data collection, and data analysis, able to solve online trade problems;
• Be familiar with international and Chinese policy, regulation, and practice;
• Keep up with the theories and development of online trade;
• Capable of literature review and data collection, able to do logical thinking and research.
• Attitude requirements.
• Development of good virtue with spirits of teamwork, care for others, professional ethics, honesty, and fair competition.
• Develop personal attainment of humanity and natural sciences, able to do independent study, critical thinking, problem-solving, and life-long learning.

• *Stipend will be given for 8 months from 2nd and 4th year.
• * Certain hours of course work/apprenticeship is required to secure the stipend.
• * Registration fees covers resident permit, housing, health checkups, visa renewal, and health insurance.
• * This program is sponsored by industrial entities such as JD.com, Alibaba.com, etc.
• * The program authority will recommend a job to students at graduation.
• * Registration fee includes program promotion cost of $500.
